Vince Schurtz has had a passion for real estate since buying his first investment property in 1999. Before joining The Maui Property Team at Compass, he worked in finance with T. Rowe Price, in marketing and advertising with the Berry Company and Local Insight Media, and with real estate technology companies including Trulia and Zillow. As an investor himself, he has bought and sold single-family and multifamily homes and completed 1031 exchanges.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, and a graduate of Denison University, Vince moved to Hawaii in 2005 and now lives in Paia on Maui's north shore with his wife Allie and their two children. When he is not researching the market, he is in the ocean, fishing, hiking or cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
