Byron Yap

Byron brings nearly 15 years of banking experience to the Home Loans team, with a strong background in residential lending. Having previously served as a loan officer at a local bank, he is dedicated to helping clients turn their homeownership goals into reality through tailored financing solutions designed around their unique needs.

Byron specializes in first-time home purchases, resort properties, and real estate investments, offering knowledgeable guidance and a smooth lending experience from start to finish. His client-first approach and attention to detail help ensure each transaction is handled with care and confidence.

He attended the University of Hawaii and earned his Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) designation.

Outside of work, Byron enjoys foilboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, and biking alongside his Belgian Malinois.
