A shout-out from an old friend | | May 26, 2008 | | (I draw cartoons for my daughter Yasmina, my talented buddy Yates decided to take one of the t-shirts I made on the road with him, on music and surf tours. . .here they both are, 3 years later!)

I’ll need to let you know that I took Cosmo on many a good surf trip in the last few years. He made it to the Mentawais with me last month. He and I rode Macaroni’s one day, got pitched into the barrel and over the falls and barely made it out alive (see picture attached). I got Cosmo aboard the boat and took this final picture. I’ll look for a seamstress, but he has seen his better days. At least he has seen many great waves and parts of the world with me. Thanks for letting me show his around.
